When we had api , half the forum identified him and his passing game as to why DCE struggled to impact the game..........I miss Api ......
He had that good balance of a great defender, an attacking game of sorts

They’ve become very very smug haven’t they.Yep, head and shoulders above the rest. The thing that surprises me though is that when they go head to head, I'll be firmly supporting the Storm. The arrogance of the Penrith team and their fans had pushed me to this!!
“ potentially “I have no doubt we can be the 3rd best team behind these two and potentially challenge them come finals time if we can just get our best team on the park. Can already see the improvement there with Schuster back, Koula coming in for Harper and Tuipulotu playing so well - once we get Tommy and some of the forwards back we could see the underperformers like Saab/Marty drop out. We might even see Fainu at some point!
I don’t know about funny and yes there’s always a gap between the top 4 and the rest of the competition BUT I haven’t seen such a gap where two sides are streets ahead of the rest for quite a while. This is a pretty funny thread. Yes I agree two teams are standouts but how often do things change between April and October? Answer, nearly always (that's my guess without looking it up).
Keep working on the areas we need to improve, we have enough talent to win this year's comp, but yes to all the Captains and crew of the SS Obvious, we're far away just now!
He didn’t play as well with manly. Prolly a Barrett thing. When we had api , half the forum identified him and his passing game as to why DCE struggled to impact the game..........

a quick perusal of 21 completed comps from 2001 to 2021 shows:Actually no, they don’t usually…
As the pic states, only twice in 10yrs has a team come from outside the top 4 (at round 8) to win the big dance. And that’s the beloved Roosters and the darling Rabbits…
We are well off competing with the likes of the Storm and Panthers… history proves it.
He looks like Brickman, so he should change his name to Brickman and slip in some bricks into his shoulder pads.Jake should consider changing the name of his band from Jake and the Six-Agains to Jake and the Also-Rans…
good point, its dangerous to say for certain its storm vs penrith. But this year, which side is the 3rd best? But that same man would have placed the same bet last year
Unfortunately, of the 17 names you nominated 7 are unavailable, and Kapow is no longer good enough.Hey Markos , I kinda disagree mate. Put this on the park:
01. Tom Trbojevic
02. Jason Saab
03. Tolu Koula
04. Dylan Walker
05. Reuben Garrick
06. Kieran Foran
07. Daly Cherry-Evans
08. Marty Taupau
09. Manase Fainu
10. Josh Aloiai
11. Haumole Olakau'atu
12. Josh Schuster
13. Jake Trbojevic
14. Karl Lawton
15. Taniela Paseka
16. Sean Keppie
17. Andrew Davey
Depth: Christian Tuipulotu, Morgan Harper, Brad Parker, Lachlan Croker, Toff Sipley, Ethan Bullemor
And I don't fear either Panthers OR Storm.
It's just.somehow making that happen which will be the trick.

There probably isn't a clear 3rd best, and whoever it is is a long long way behind. I think it's a combination of Penrith and Melbourne stepping up a gear and everyone else going backwards. Look, I'll agree that the GF looks nailed on to be between those two and you would have to say at this stage they deserve it but we've still got 2/3 of the season to go.....we can live in hopegood point, its dangerous to say for certain its storm vs penrith. I'll be supporting a massive covid/flu outbreak that'll sweep through the 2 teams and their ****ty supporters.Yep, head and shoulders above the rest. The thing that surprises me though is that when they go head to head, I'll be firmly supporting the Storm. The arrogance of the Penrith team and their fans had pushed me to this!!
Yes but that’s the perfect team and we haven’t had anything like that since round 1 and we got walloped !!Hey Markos , I kinda disagree mate. Put this on the park:
