How Refreshing to see a Dynamic and Exciting flyer like Reuben in the Manly centres
I can not believe how long we had to persist with with the subbstandard Parkers and the Harpers
Where are the Parkers and the Harpers now ?
They are Where they belong in NSW cup
Not being personal
Just saying it as it IS
And Rueben IS a deadly Manly Magnum gun

I'm seeing improvement. The last month Saab is seeing a lot more ball. There's less hero plays and he's making great meterage with his runs. I am concerned about his susceptibility to concussions, he's had a couple of HIA this season now.

Still a work in progress but I think he's playing better than Koula was before injury.

Season rating 6/10
Past month rating 7/10

He is improving. Still needs to work on his reads and trust DCE on the inside. 3rd Canberra try was disappointing. I’m glad he is giving Saab early service.

Your comment on trusting DCE I think touches on something critical. DCE has good contact and tackling technique, but we all know is prone to knee-jerk reactions as panic sets in. This happens with and without ball in hand. Defending outside Chez would literally be the toughest position on the field to do so. He is erratic and unpredictable so trusting him under intense pressure would be very difficult. As if right centre isn't already hard enough as it is. I think he's doing well in his first season all things considering. Brooks and Koula/Talau don't get as much traffic and yet struggle more per/opposing raid

I'm surprised you say good contact and technique, I see more arm grabbing but more obvious in his defence style is his ploy to move up out of the line to try and cut off play and even more obvious is the way he tries to shepherd the attacker away from him instead of making the tackle.

Against the tigers I saw some good defence from DCE, and I've seen it in other games for periods, but his defence style I see that I mention above would be a nightmare to defend alongside.

Anyone watched the weak try fainu scored in the final minute for the tigers last week?

Garrick's defence will cost Manly an important match this year.

No coincidence the dogs are going down his side almost every attacking raid. Their two tries were from his inability to slide in defence.

Yep the good coaches are going to have runners moving down that right edge, when Saab went off it was a chance to either put Garrick or Koula on the wing, moving Talau to the left wing and Hoppa to the right, not convinced that’s the way to go…

Ruben would have had 50 games at wing that were better than any at centre.

He keeps thinking he is playing on the wing, coming in on defence, instead of sliding.
What amazes me is the coaching staff seem oblivious or incapable of coaching him to defend at centre 🤔

I mean this should definitely be merged because you know everyone wants to think the same way a moderator did about things three years ago

Vote Kahmila and learn to tackle roobs you poor excuse for a footballer.
