We got screwed simple, the refs hate us and we copped it.

The problem is that the refs have always hated manly and the great teams win regardless of the refs. We should have won anyway, and the reason we did not was attitude. We got screwed but in the end we were just not good enough to win anyway.

What can you do but 'cop it'?
And it's trite to say we weren't good enough, that does not detract from the fact that very serious momentum changes can result from a key moment.
Personally I think mentally we were knocked off our equilibrium by Kite getting taken out followed by that absurd decision straight after 1/2 time.
Would we have won if not for that try? Probably, but we'll never know. Same as Gasnier's 'try', who knows?
They key now is how our team will re-group mentally. Losing Glenn and maybe some others to injury only makes it harder. I am confident Des will have our team ready to play, sure hope so anyhow.
