Classic NRL: the better team on the night loses, and even though the game is decided by a spectacular, otherworldly winning play at the death, all anybody will want to talk about is how badly the referees ****ed things.
Hard to feel sorry for the roosters. They get their fare share of the 50/50 calls and a fair rub of the green in most games

True, the missed penalty on H White, plain as day high shot and for some strange reason not seen by Kline or tipped of from the Bunker crew. ?.
So many things wrong with the NRL.
96000 over at the MCG and these clowns play this game at the same time. 19500 crowd for a 30000 seat stadium.

Same teams year after year dominating. I haven't watched a single finals game. NRL has become boring, predictable and incompetent.

Yeah, I thought the AAMI Park crowd of 19,500 is what they usually get for one of their better games, and for a major semi it's about 10k down on what they should of got. Yep, bad planning all right having it on against an AFL blockbuster down the road.
I'm finding myself looking forward to the Knights/Warriors game. Should be a good one.

NRL head office has too big an ego, wouldn't change it as they'd be seen to admitting the AFL is the bigger game (which it is).
Agree, main reason being they're different to the usual same old same old
I remember having a beer with Rod at Lismore RSL back when he was playing. Rippa fella.
Knights are like a dear in the spotlight atm
Lismore RSL brings back some memories.....closed down about 20 or so years ago I think. Building was demolished after the flood last year.
