Some fans are lost in euphoriaI thought there were some good signs from Schu, had a couple of poor errors but played long minutes and made plenty of tackles including a try saver on our line. Good to see him on the field, hopefully the hit out will be good for him.
Noteable that he didn’t throw the ball away with no look passes into touch, which showed good application in curbing his natural instincts.
Some fans are lost is Pessimism .Some fans are lost in euphoria
The previous 5 weeks we spanked the Warriors,we spanked the Tigers,we spanked the Cowboys for 72 minutes,we spanked the Storm for 70 minutes and spanked the Knights.Get rid of Des and bring somebody in more professional and up to date. Des’ time is done. I’m happy to give him another chance, but he needs to come forward with a compelling plan. We are drowning in mediocrity.
Yep. Talent needs to be nurtured. No idea where the player we saw last year has gone but, at his age, must be down to the work/guidance of the coaching staff. The Shoe looks lost. Our coaching staff have turned the most talented junior into a 'rocks' player; the 'diamonds' have been nicked by someone.
When I look at Schu I see a young footy player having a tough second season in NRL.I’ll say it now. I’d be happy to move him on and let him know that. Yes, he may become good, but it’s up to him to prove it now. All I see is an overweight entitled brat living on media dreams. How good are you, ****ster? How bad do you want it?
Yep. It was clear the impact of missing our most important defenders. We’ve been on a good run.The previous 5 weeks we spanked the Warriors,we spanked the Tigers,we spanked the Cowboys for 72 minutes,we spanked the Storm for 70 minutes and spanked the Knights.
One loss with our workhorses in the forwards out and we are crap?
The Game day thread was hilarious last night.
I agree and can see him coming good at some point. However, if he were fit and had a better attitude about doing the 1%ers, I think he wouldn’t be struggling so much. When I look at Schu I see a young footy player having a tough second season in NRL.
Schuster should spend the rest of the season playing five-eight at Blacktown. He just isn't fit enough to play first grade. He then needs to drop significant weight before he plays five-eight for us next season. Right now he simply isn't first grade standard.I agree and can see him coming good at some point. However, if he were fit and had a better attitude about doing the 1%ers, I think he wouldn’t be struggling so much.
I know I’m repeating myself but concessions can be made for his footy, but not for his weight. If he was fit, I think the noise would be much quieter.
At the start in Matthews he was a prop(I think he was not happy with the Eels because they wanted him there). But was he exclusively a 5/8 in juniors? I thought he was at times also selected as a forward.
He was exclusively a 6 for us but rep selectors were smart and picked him on an edge because they could see what was best for Josh. But was he exclusively a 5/8 in juniors? I thought he was at times also selected as a forward.
