Eden Ahbez was living under one of the "L"s in the Hollywood sign with his family. Natalie Cole was walking with her father Nat King Cole and they met Eden on the street. Afterwards, Natalie said she thought they had just met Jesus. Eden gave Cole this song. This is the original by Eden.
