Ok, so we know Foran is running out of options. Would he take 200k to come back? Surely he is worth 200k even if he plays 50% of games.
Would we rather re sign Levi or buy Foz? It might come down to one or the other, unless there is another option presenting itself any time soon

I wouldnt buy either. Foran is too injury prone now that he's been injured every year for the past 6 years. Levi isnt good enough. Concentrate on our younger players, and maybe a decent hooker...or even train Cust as hooker.

Id be putting Cust there 100% but if we let Levi go we still need a another 9 on our books. Looking at what's out there though, it's pretty slim pickings

I think we should hire him in the coaching staff if he retires. He can teach dce a thing or 2 and would be great for the young players coming through.
200k is so cheap maybe des will consider it who knows? Id like to see cust goto 9 and levi off the bench if we cant find another 9. Cust would become a great 9 imo

Wouldn't mind seeing him come on as a halves coach with the club, especially with the likes of Schuster and Cust definitely needing more development now that they most likely be named every week in 2021.

Don't know if I would want him back at Manly with his injury history but if we do sign him do the rules allow him to be signed at say $300,000 if he plays 20+ games, $200,000 15-19 games and $150,000 10-14 games and any less $100,000.

If he doesn't last the season which seems all most certain we haven't wasted all that coin on him, give him a year and then have him part of the coaching staff.

Rules are now suppose to be flexible according to Vlandy's so even if against the rules as I suspect it presently is, shouldn't be a problem.

Oh wait, Manly, no no rules can't be flexible, in fact here is a $500k salry cap fine for suggesting it !
