Fancy having to pay $500,000 to have a player play against you!
We didn't even pay that much to get Mr Plod to Melbourne.

Meanwhile, Pay and the Canterbury players have been rallying around Foran this week after he suffered another injury setback.
Foran has now sustained a calf problem that is believed to be directly related to his ongoing hamstring issue.

There has been a lot of speculation that the Bulldogs would be keen to move Foran if a rival club showed interest.

But given his injury history and the big money he is currently on that is just not a realistic alternative.

While Foran has only played 10 games this year, Pay also understands what a fit Foran is still capable of and the coach has reassured Foran that he is wanted at the club.

Foran hasn’t played more than 20 games in a season since 2014.

And in a total shock... outline doesn't work. lol

A fit Foran is capable of wondrous things. So is a unicorn.

He can't, he has a wife, an ex wife, and a horrendous number of kids to support, he has to keep playing til he's forty
His plan becomes clear, the cunning devil....Genghis Foran.....
Genghis Khan, the fearsome Mongolian warrior of the 13th century, may have done more than rule the largest empire in the world; according to a recently published genetic study, he may have helped populate it too.

An international group of geneticists studying Y-chromosome data have found that nearly 8 percent of the men living in the region of the former Mongol empire carry y-chromosomes that are nearly identical. That translates to 0.5 percent of the male population in the world, or roughly 16 million descendants living today.

Canterbury coach Dean Pay is adamant the club has no plans to push five-eight Kieran Foran out as the club grapples with a difficult salary-cap situation.

Foran has played just 22 games since his arrival at Canterbury in 2018, with hamstring and ankle injuries hampering his progress at the club.

The 29-year-old last took the field for the Bulldogs 6 weeks ago and coach Pay understands that he will have to be patient with Foran’s recovery, but is intent on keeping him at the club.
