Captain Moondog
Absolute Superstar
Yeah, he can flip off.
Is Kieran in our top 10 5/8s? In my memory I'd rank them like this:
Tier 1: Cliffy Lyons, Alan Thompson - fantastic specialist 5/8s. A cut above the rest.
Tier 2: Ian Martin, Jamie Lyon, Bozo. Martin was there for 2 gf wins then moved to lock for 2 more. The other 2 are probably our best centres. Jamie was really great at 6 in 2008. Bozo I don't think won a premiership at 5/8, but excelled in the position for Australia. Wally O'Connell would be in this group going on historical documents.
Tier 3: above average first graders. Kieran, Phil Blake (a better number 7). I put Kieran here in the third tier because he wasn't a standout member of the team in his premiership win. Rather he has solidly contributed to manly being a tough team to beat in recent times, he has won us a fair few games, but so did Phil.
Tier 4: players that couldn't maintain a 1st grade grade position at 6 for significant periods: Mitchell Cox, Phil Sigsworth, Adam Brown, Adam Hayden, Mullane, Martin Meredith, gene ngamu, tony Melrose, Ben walker.
2nd tier of manly 5/8s I mean. bozo was usually in the centres while Martin or Thompson were at 6.Bozo in the 2nd tier?? Please....., he's an immortal ffs!!
FoxSports had a statement by his manager that Foran is still off to the Dalai

3 of Manly's very best - no wonder we won 4 in the good old 70's2nd tier of manly 5/8s I mean. bozo was usually in the centres while Martin or Thompson were at 6.
Foran will be the Great White Hope at the Eels - he is going for some esoteric reason that only the Dalai can deliver.Way i read that is they are saying they can still afford him. I really want him to confirm he's going.
I dread the prospect of us having to carry him.
Yep the 2009-13 Kieran Foran. Is Blake Austin the new Kieran Foran? (albeit a faster version)
Some of the things he did yesterday for Canberra were very "Foran like" in their execution. Charging onto the ball back on the inside and barging over for the try, pushing up in support and breaking through the line down the left edge before finding support, and cross field chip/bomb to land on a dime for his runners. It bought back fond memories.

He is certainly enjoyable to watch right now, one player that has shone under Stuart.
