In all my years of supporting this club have I seen such blatant treachery, dysfunction and selfishness.

I wrote a post a few weeks back "Time to come clean Foz" I wrote that after I was informed that he had agreed to go to the whingers, at no stage did he deny it or state that he wanted to stay.

Well I've been through the Bozo leaving for the rorters saga , the rape by Super league, the Northern Eagles disaster, the De$gate saga and now this. No doubt the NE merger was worse but this has just made me sickened and fearful for the long term future of this club. There are other agendas at work here and it doesn't bode well for our survival.

We are on our knees as a club. We are exposed and vulnerable. There has been a collective failure throughout the club and it has culminated in this. What a farce and the club really has to get its act together in so many areas. The club has been consumed by infighting and surely now that has to stop and we need a transparent and decisive leadership right now.

Sickening. Worst part for me is that for the first time, I don't feel like Manly is my club anymore. I don't feel like it's a product of its' proud and gritty history. I feel like it's the plaything of rich kids in suits. Gutted.

I don't want to be negative or pessimistic however in my 36 years of supporting manly I have never seen anything like this. The NE eagles And super league stuff was one thing as that was a whole game wholistic type issue but this is incredible to see how badly we have mismanaged our roster.

Now that Foran is gone and didn't want to stay and checked out 6 months ago will Kelly go back and match or offer more than the Gold Coast to DCE to stay before June 30 seems DCE was keen to stay but we didn't offer enough.

What an absolute mess and to think we lost gift and watmough last year as well.

I've already posted on that. The Penns will sell the license to either Perth, NZ, Brisbane or CQ. We won't have a club in a couple of years or maybe sooner the way they are running it into the ground. F*** this sport I'm over it.

I agree, it feels like the club that we loved has been ripped away from us and is now being picked apart by the vultures, our enemies in the press are laughing at us with contempt and it is all our own fault.

We need to get our club back and put a smile back on its face, that is the task for Penn and Kelly now.

I think they can do anything but can't change the colours. Yes they own it.

I am unaware of their standing, if the club has shareholders then they cant just do whatever they want. if it is owned soley by them, then they can essentially do whats best for themselves, given that they are the only shareholders they need to generate wealth for.

I tend to stay away from the runnings of the club. i just turn up and watch the games. so i cannot comment entirely.

No they can't the football club retains a preference vote. The members would have to unanimously support a move.

They can't change the colours, name or home ground. It's enshrined in the club constitution

I am pretty sure a name change or relocating x number of home games is also outside of their control.
