Just looking at the ladder and next week's games, if we beat the Warriors and Souths lose to Melbourne (very likely) we could take thier spot in the top 4 if I'm not mistaken.

And IDEALLY the Roosters lose to the Raiders.

Third on the ladder is our perfect finish. If not 3rd, then fifth. We play the Storm again in the merry-go-round, no need to play them again by finishing 4th. Better to jump them on GF day after beating them twice the month before.

Would not surprise me if the Storm dog it against The Vermin next week to keep us at arms length. Bellamy is scared of us, as his actions have shown after last week.

The Storm are praying that we don't come 4th because they know we are the one team - Easts included - that regularly beats them in Melbourne.

What I liked about yesterday, it was the perfect day. The reserves came back and won, I watched that game and I can say I watched NRL games that were of a lessor standard than that game, some players showing great potential. Then NRL team wins, no one on report, no injuries.

I initially thought 5th rather than going to Melb. But as Des said I his presser top 4 gets u a second bite. It wouldn’t be unsurprising to have a team like Penrith or wests fin 8 and knock us over at home. Plus us at 4 v melb will have Bellamy worried and teams have gone to melb in similar scenarios and gone well. Higher up the better imo

Yes, it was completely farcical. Particularly when they then penalised us for less.

The crowd were giving it to the Refs nonstop allowing the Noughts to lay all over us for the whole game.

Tom was also pretty pissed off, which is rare. He went for the ball and then only touched the bloke. Farcical.
