They are rorting the cap in a smart way.
Players get unders to play only to get good pays when retired or family getting jobs for doing almost nothing.

For us being in crisis is our own doing, under the Penn model this won’t change. If we had an owner like Uncle Nick we would have been a top 4 side regularly with more premierships.

You are right on the first point.

The second, I’m not so sure.

My contract is up next year , I reckon I’m good to go for 2 more years and I think I’m worth around what I’m being paid now.

Club : ah we don’t believe so , you’ll be 37 this year , 38 & almost 39 if we sign you for 2 years. How about 1 year with a club option for the second year.
