Ben Barba on STERLO tonight, will be interesting to see if he is regurgitating spin or still in denial. I will be interested to see how he contradicts Greenturds lies and all the rumours. I'm sure they'll go soft on him as he is still 'Sick'

PR smokescreen expected followed by Man Mundine flying him off to Japan RU :dodgy:

On 360 last night it was interesting to hear that J Morris has repeated asked to leave and Kasiano as well

Hard to see how a Team Sport can be effective with the participants wishing that they were elsewhere 😎

Ben Barba is wasting his time with this interview really

He can tell the truth 100% but all the twitter experts will keep going with their version of events anyway

Odd that a player struggling to cope with the limelight and pressure of being heavily scrutinised puts himself or is pushed into a tv interview.......

Could the Bulldogs become contenders for the wooden spoon? Who could have predicted such a thing? 😀

That would almost be better than us winning the GF.......... almost.

We could celebrate that at the end of September anyway

Are Hughes and Tunks covering any of this Bulldogs stuff with the same passion and zeal they wanted to unearth all Manly's woes over the course of last season?

It wouldn't be the first time. In 2008 they got the spoon and we FLOGGED the scum.

I say that when we play them at Brookvale, if they're still coming last, we all bring wooden spoons to the game and wave them when they run out, drop the ball, give away a penalty......basically any opportunity we get.

After the way they carried on when they signed De$mond claiming they would become the superpower of the NRL, nothing would be better than absolutely giving it to them.

BUTTHURT x 1 000 000.

All those in favour ?

For a non-gambler, the easiest 20 bucks I have ever made was betting a good mate of mine that Manly would finish higher on the table.

Easy 20 bucks.

Bulldogs in 2013 - I m p l o d e d

No they aren't the pathetic twerps. Hughes keeps saying he won't buy into the rumours until something is confirmed by the club or players involved. What a bunch of f***ing hypocrites. They spent months last year sticking the boot into us over every rumour about player movements and board unrest. Demanding the board and management explain themselves yet not once have they said anything about the massive incompetence that is going on at their beloved s**tful club.

Hi I'm Tom Waterhouse and I'm now taking odds on the 2013 demise of that sporting dilemma, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
$4 on the 'dogs to sack Todd Greenberg by August after wasting the Club's last $8million on signing Tony Williams until the end of the 2025 season.
$3 on Des Hasler walking out by September and taking on the coaching director's role at the Wyong Roos.
$2 on the 'dogs missing the finals for the first time since 2011, continuing their familiar pattern of unexpected success one year, followed by miserable failure the next.
$1 on the 'dogs to make a massive bid for the services of Peter Sharp as head coach for 2014, noting it couldn't be any worse than paying overs for Hasler and rationalising that Sharpy might bring some of the winning culture across from the old Northern Eagles franchise. Ian Thomson is in the Bulldogs' sights for the CEO role.

Poor old dogs. Their desperate fans should have realised that they were falling victim to the old cargo cult. Dead, lazy, unproductive societies totally reliant on ships pulling into port bearing new produce. THe more reliant such societies became on this cargo, the less able they were to produce their own wealth.
Same with the dogs. After years of failure a big ship was gonna pull up full of plundered players, staff and a winning club culture that was gonna rescue them from their own inadequacy. As with your standard cargo cult, invariably things are ok for a short while and then they revert back to the old ways. You can't import a productive culture, you have to build it.
I expect the flea beagles will be down at the docks again soon with their tails between their legs waiting for the next ship to sail in.

As expected it was completely orchestrated and limp . The only brief point of interest was when Barba said " When Des put me in that place" . Greenturd's spin doctoring for sure , Des ( if he gave a damn ) would never let one of his players be paraded around like this .

I personally thought that the Sterling interview with Barba was good and pretty honest, I'm sure many on here won't agree though

On watching him speak there, I personally think all the twitter stuff is crap
