Team List Tuesdays ... Should be a ripper.

Well I did look forward to teamlist Tues but now I'll just shake my head again when I see the NSW cup standard lineup
Hank, Soul Glo, Aloha, Reg Regan Jr, Thelma, Froggy, Shrek, Pillow named. Maybe Millie will get a go this week.

IF Woods is picked in front of Sipley then ............ well I don't know but my original confidence that Siebold/Flanagan/Dymock was a step in the right direction will be severely tested. Picking the human turnstile in Harper has opened the door but FMD if they go with an aging, unfit (match), St G reserve grader over Sips then one has to wonder!!

Considering how well Sipley played on weekend he had much more impact, run meters and post contact meters than Woods did. Sipps did a lot of damage to the Riff forwards defense line.

Schu will be picked at 5/8.
But will he be recovered in time?
For Manly's sake I hope so, but if not surely it will be Johns. Weekes is better at 14 for now.

Reg Reagan Jr

One of your better ones @mickqld

Not sure about all the Sipps love. Perhaps his absence from firsts for awhile, coupled with the poor showings by the firsts the past couple of weeks, is colouring people's views? The guy has a red hot crack and has some impact in very short stints. However, he was inconsistent, no lateral movement in defence and gasses all too quickly.

I agree, again he's not the answer, but if they keep rewarding poor performers with constant selection then the non performers will continue to sit back in the comfort zone. No incentive to raise the effort level.

He has been good for Blacktown, especially last Saturday v Penrith.

If the blokes ahead of him aren't performing, why wouldn't you reward good performance in the lower grades.
That's the whole point, isn't it?

Yeah, on second thought, I do see the advantages in rewarding hard work and performance and avoid complacency.

After that Penrith performance, I'm keen to see Woods injected into the side.
He may be past his best, but I reckon he will show more pride in the Seaeagles emblem than a few of those boys did on Saturday night....well we will soon find out cause he will definitely be there, can't do much worse than the others did last week.
