Makes perfect sense to let him go now.With Boyle’s return,although Keppie misses a couple,the club has plenty of cover up front.Interesting situation though.They need to get the deal done by Monday but they play the Eels next week.Not sure Manly can release him on the proviso he doesn’t play the next round

I was proud of Marty for donning the rainbow stripes and playing hard last night, but we were never going to sign him for next year. I'm happy for him to go, but not sure on the timing. Aren't we still a chance of playing finals footy as well?

This is heartbreaking for me, and I'm trying not to get emotional about it. One of my all time faves !
But we tend to just waste cap on what's already here, and frankly, that's not giving us forward momentum.
We've blooded all the high end potential players, and here we are, .400 team, and losing Foz, Walker, Taupau, Davey, Fainu may not play, Taufua & others and bringing Kelma only.
We NEED some talent mate.
