Maybe, maybe, maybe ..... who the fxck knows why he signed with the Eels? I would guess it is just simply more $$$$. We / you know nothing about the negotiations with this kid. You're just using this to promote your anti Seibold / Mestrov position. I don't know if they fxcked it up but maybe our management was thinking about our cap and needs money for other signings? The only certainty here is that we're all sausage roll eating numpties and apart from probably one person on here (I acknowledge @AndWeDon'tCare ) none of us have a clue and will never know what actually transpired.

Personally, I would have liked Da Silva to sign at Manly because I think he is going to be better than Simpkin and obviously Croker, but…I reckon 4 years at 650K is pretty mental. That’s a lot of coin for potential.

I’d rather save our money for a genuine game winning prop & another good edge forward.

Happy with Fogarty? Yes 100%. And you may have forgotten we have a young, (potential) boom half in Walsh waiting in the wings. We even have a young (potential) boom 5/8 in Large coming through.

He showed glimpses on Friday but was well outplayed by us ( which isn’t exactly world class ).

I hope the kid goes well , and cannot blame him for the money & length of contract to go where he went.
