Current strat of 'own the middle' never was going to work, and hasn't worked.

Harper has had a shocker to be sure, but he has been good for so long I am sure he will bounce back.

Our discipline and ball-control are the problems.

Bad defensive decision made that last try happen (DCE), bad defensive decision got Welch a try (Marty).

They can score 18 pts+ fast. 75% completion won't cut it.

We are missing froggy.

Evans and Marty not faultless. But Jake and Haumole have been most at fault in those two tries. Jake for completely misreading the play and Haumole guilty of trying to overread it. Evans deliberately pushes up and tries to herd the play back inside. Haumole leaves a massive gap on the inside trying to counter the kick with Tom somewhat out of position

Dylan playing the link offers speed and penetration to keep the inside defenders honest, ever since Jake has returned the attack and spreads have not looked as good.

Harper hasn't been playing all that well for a while now, too much cutting back inside and also allowing defenders on the outside too easily(talking in general this year), Harper is an intelligent player but at times looks slow and plays with tension.

I have been worried about this kind of performance and mentioned in a previous post Manly hasn't coped with defences rushing up and minimizing our time for spreads.

It's the same old looking tense, nervous and predictable in the early stages with our attack, against the Storm this will dig you a hole and create unforced errors.

Play some footy and just enjoy coming from behind with nothing to lose.

Harper's first drop ball was DCE' s poor pass.
The defence of them as a pair is rubbish. Did u see papenhausen split them?

Everything **** about our performance came from the early mistake from Harper. When you’re inexperienced, you need to start well and get your tail up. We started with a couple of errors that led to tries and everything from there is just a compounding of the confidence crisis suffered as a result.

we aren’t that bad but our inexperienced players are shell shocked and no Croker was as bad as I expected it to be.

It’s the most inexperienced players that are having the worst games.

They simply lack big game experience.
