The sad part is that we are actually playing no different to what we did in the past fortnight against the Dogs and Cows.

The difference? Tonight we're not playing piss poor teams like the Dogs and the Cows. We're playing the minor premiers.

Just no composure. They are way too overexcited, and when you get that way you forget everything about the game plan and what got you there. The whole lot of their heads are spinning - the only exceptions being Walker and Parker.

They will be better next week. Have to go in with clear heads and composure and build a game, not try and be individual heroes.

AND contrary to some opinions here we do miss Croker. He makes tough carries and tough tackles that sure up the middle. Lawton is sidestepping around trying to make plays. We have enough of those kinds of players!.

Barring a miracle, the focus of the second half is a good structured team performance and building of combinations for next week.

I’M not that sad really. They have played two bottom teams and six days later a final. Tough task.

I cannot remember the last time we completed at over 80%.

It's all well and good when we have the raw talent to put away a lot of average teams. But it won't work against Melbourne who are the best team in the competition AND are completing at 95% so far this game.

Not sure this team is ready to win a premiership... yet.

I think Dessie has to call it. Lionel (you know I love him), but he’s got the yips. Unless Dessie puts Walker out there, they are just gunna hammer Lionel.

I love Harper too, he can be literally anything (even a NZ international). But he's really fallen off the cliff effort wise. So sad, he's one of my favorites.
