8 penalties to 0 0t one stage says it all. Klein even called the ball backwards which was the right call then immediately changed his mind at one stage in theb1st half. Almost like he forgot he had to get Qld a win for a 3rd DECIDER match haha. Origin hasn't been the same since we lost 10 in a row and kept picking the baboon gallen

I hope its the former. I back Queensland and also don't like many of the Blues players, Cleary included.

The biggest issue was Klein in the first half.The first kick almost missed his boot,his handling and passing was poor.
I think they missed Barnett more than anything,Cleary was playing injured,but who else would they pick?

they missed Moses, his defence in game 1 was fantastic Luai's, passing was mostly
pretty poor, as was some of Cleary's .... but yes the Klein non penalties for their constant first half off sides was laughable

Blues were not good enough in the first half although the pens did not help.

What must be scary for QLD is how close NSW came when they never should have - for me that was partly down to QLD not having a "game manager" in the second half (was Tom D on the park apart from his defence?)

You can’t win expect to win a game with a penalty count 8-0 at half time. A lot of it is was bad discipline from NSW but can you really say QLD were perfect in the 1st half? They were constantly offside but weren’t pinged once. You could tell Klein was looking for things when he made that ridiculous call of a strip on Cleary, NSW challenged & won it as a completely obvious call for the bunker for a loose carry.

Thought Munster was a bit rocks and diamonds. Thought Cotter was great and also Grant/Capewell. To'o easily NSW's best. Also thought Toia was excellent up against Trell. He has been very much the quite achiever and quite impressive on debut.
