Should be a classic match, I can't wait!
The heavyweights Storm, Pennies and Souths have been duking it out for the last couple of years but as of now Manly is the team on the rise!
Souths premiership window is open right this minute but they've been close to a GF for a while already, and know the opportunities won't last forever. Next year no Bennett, no Reynolds. So if we can put some scoreboard pressure on them early it might get into their heads, because they've lost the prelim for the last 3 years.
Manly on the other hand didn't even have a premiership window. But after a slick renovation earlier this year ... we do now, and how!

I said this last week and was laughed at. I picked a matchup against the Bunnies for the grand final. If we are in the big dance we have a 50% chance of winning.

and C Walker and Gayguy , and Des, blocking is ok
Gagai is a real confidence player. That needs to be knocked out of him nice and early. His play can really deteriorate quickly with an error or two. And yes, Des blocking is Ok, though hopefully there will be zero need for a field goal shootout

It probably wont happen, but i wouldnt mind seeing Lawton start instead of Shoe for the first 20-25 mins then lawton stays on the bench until crocker needs a rest. I feel we may need hard straight line running and defense line speed early before bringing on Schuster to have more of an impact against tired edges.
