2019 SF we scored our first two tries targeting adam reynolds, we sent parker and wadell to power over pretty easily. Expect us to target Reyno similarly, this time he will have to worry about big Tom and Schuster running lines directed at him.

Everything comes full circle, and a game that has haunted me for 2 years, Friday we get our revenge for the 2019 semi final.

This game is all about our right edge defence... souffs have some quality forwards no doubt and Reynolds kicking game is fantastic generally but they make a large portion of their metres, and score most of their tries, down that left side...

Hopefully our boys get it right and make this SF a nightmare for Walker the dog.... Go Eagles...

I think we'll be facing the Panthers, not Storm. Not sure why as Storm played very well against us, but I just have a feeling that the Pennies have another gear and might get them.

As bad as we were the first 4 rounds, we were right in that Round 2 game at 12-all, a bad call turned the game and they went on to score a couple late tries and made the score look worse than it was, similar to our loss against Penriff in round 8. I think we have both teams covered, Storm on the other hand, Des needs to do his homework and hope the Storm and riff bash the sh*it out of each other.

Yes Manly were right in that contest that day. Plus Sydney was experiencing a once in 100 years East Coast Low weather system with 300-400mm of rain and poor old Brookie oval wasn't handling it

Yep 100% re Souths, and they were at full strength then - albeit conditions that game probably helped us. We are a different side to the team that started the season. Nrl is a marathon not a sprint. Just ask teams like Saints, warriors n co.

hes the closest thing to cliffy lyons the modern game has.

we need to aggressive and cut down his decision time. Rushing him in to mistakes would go long way to us winning.

harper had an off night against melbourne but he has shown this season so many times he can shut teams down
in defense. rd 6 vs gold coast when he shut down Fifi was a perfect example.

I do expect Paseka to have a big impact for us this week He was starting to be quite a dominant force before his injury and after a few games back he could be ready to cause some damage.

Yep, I would certainly consider Toff in for Lawton. So, it probably won't happen.

Send Keppie out to harass him. Walker gets fired up and starts playing frustrated and does stupid things. Id be niggling him all day and Keppie is the man to do it!

GAME PLAN v SOUTHS
We shut down Reynolds and get 50% share of possession and we WIN this game.
BUT easier said than done as Reynolds always has a good kicking game against us and it could be his last game for the Rabbits and he will be looking for a big one !

Des will be rapt if we are still underdogs by kickoff.
No reason Manly doesn't win this, we've just as good a chance as Souths. Good start is imperative!

Our right side defence is the key, if Harper and Saab slip into lost mode we're bunnie pellets, Des has to put in some serious time on that aspect of our game or it will be a repeat of the Storm semi

Bennett right now is like a ww2 German General in the closing days, he wont know which way Manly will strike, we have so many variations, set plays and different points of attack unlike Souths.

Paseka had a good solid 20min in the 2nd half, and looked intimidating. building nicely for a big one on Friday.

Next Week we are facing the old enemy Souths who have defensively shut down and defeated the Panthers and we have defeated a depleted roosters side to do battle with them
