I was almost pissed off enough to leave Marc Aden Gray a comment on his "piece" before I thought better of it. Click-bait crap like that needs oxygen to survive and I'll be stuffed if I'm going to give it to him. Happy to post it here though. Here's the comment that never was:

And even if Brett Stewart was "miming the act of masturbation and ejaculation", how does that equate to behaving like a rapist? How exactly do rapists behave when they're not raping people? Seriously, you should spend less time watching porn and get back to your post-graduate studies. With any luck somebody will teach you that making up words like 'concretize' doesn't make you look smarter. They might also teach you about using paragraphs.

He and Fitzsimons (I refuse to capitalise the 'S' for that ****wit) deserve each other.

A retweet from Steve Menzies appears to confirm what Manly have been saying all along about Brett Stewart's now infamous post-try celebration seven days ago.

Widely-read Fairfax columnist Peter Fitzsimons accused the Sea Eagles fullback of performing a 'self serving act' that is often seen in movies 'far from the Disney variety'.

He wrote that Stewart must be in a 'dark rage' and urged brother Glenn to have a 'long talk' with his younger sibling.


But with one simple tap of his iPhone, Menzies acknowledged via a retweet that the Snake was taking the piss out of his old teammate's dodgy dancing style after overtaking the Manly try-scoring record.

Beaver was on Gibby's sports show tonight and said very sincerely and candidly that Brett was copying his "Feed the Chicken" dance moves. They are good mates. Beaver is not a great dancer and one the dance floor he mostly just moves this arms around like he is feeding the chickens.

Peter Fitzsimons article was way over the top and you'de have to think Brett has cause for defamation. Under most circumstances you'de pass a lot of what the media says off as stupidity, but this latest attack reeked of some sort of personal vendetta.
