150 games in Maroon and White for the prodigal son Kieran Foran tonight.

Great competitor and a key component of our dominant decade there in late 2000's early 2010's. Not the greatest end to his first stint at Manly and he went through some tough times personally, on and off the field. Seems to have got his life sorted and for that you have to give him credit, not an easy battle fighting those inner demons.

Anyway he is back where it all started and we need him to discover some of that old magic if we ae going to celebrate this milestone with a win. Who can forget the hand of Foran try against the Cowgirls in that semi, or the night on the GC that Sam Tagatese used him for target practice over and over, and he kept backing up for more.

"Run it f#ck ya !!!!!" is the all time classic though

Welcome back KFoz - good luck tonight mate

Dominant performance from Tommy Turbo today to bring up his century of games. He was the difference between the two sides, and has been an absolute stand out this season since returning from injury. If you look at the following stats then you can see what a key part of our team he is.

Since his full-time shift to fullback in 2016, Manly have won 51.35 per cent of games with Trbojevic in the side as opposed to just 30.56 per cent without him. Under Des Hasler since 2019, the situation is even more critical with Manly's probability of winning almost three-times higher with Trbojevic, going from 28.12 per cent without him to 75 per cent with him.

Scary thought to contemplate he may still have some improvement in him. We've been blessed with some great fullbacks at Manly, but there is a good chance this guy may be laying claim to being the greatest ever by the time he hangs up the boots. He is certainly already one of the most influential in terms of winning games.

Well done Turbo, stay fit, stay happy and please don't ever leave Manly. Let's hope you get a premiership or 3 over the next 10 years

A couple of weeks after little bro Tommy reached a century of games, Jake will clock over 150 games tomorrow for Manly.

Jake has been an 80 minute machine for many seasons now, shoring up our middle with one of the best defensive techniques in the league. Little wonder it has earned him multiple NSW and Australian representative jerseys. An amazingly resilient player rarely missing a game in a 6 year career. He has also returned to some of that ball playing skill we saw earlier in his career. Some of his work over the last 3-4 weeks has been the best of his career.

He bleeds Maroon and epitomises what it means to be a local junior and one club player such is his passion for the Sea Eagles. The combination between he and Tommy will only get better, and all going well we will see young brother Ben join the mix. What a truly great rugby league family, they are Manly royalty. On top of all that he is just a great human being, fair minded, approachable and humble. I'm sure by the time he retires history will remember him as one of our greats.

So good luck tomorrow Jake against the old enemy. Maybe a try to celebrate the milestone all going well ??

I don’t think of Parramatta as the old enemy. They were just on the radar for about a decade from the 70s to mid-80s. Our FG kill ratio over them is 92 to 58 (they have caught up a bit lately) with 6 draws. It’s a much bigger deal to the Faeceels (trying to catch up) than it should be to us.

Manly’s more traditional rivals are the likes of Souths, the old (real) Saints and more recently Melbourne.

Not going to be a big year for personal milestones this season. Potential ones that could be achieved as follows

Morgan Boyle - 50 NRL Games (47)
Keiran Foran - 250 NRL Games (238)
Sean Keppie - 50 Manly Games (42)
Brad Parker - 100 Manly Games (88)
Jason Saab - 50 Manly / NRL Games (27/34)
Toff Sipley - 50 Manly / NRL Games (34/36)
Martin Taupau - 150 Manly Games (135)

If Tommy has a season out like last year then he could pass the 100 try milestone - currently on 76. At the very least I expect he will knock up a dozen meat pies to go into the top 5 all time list

Top Try Scorers

163 Stewart B

151 Menzies S (180 incl NE)
129 Fulton R
91 Matai S

87 Taufua J

86 Lyon J

83 Mooney T
80 Lyons C

76 Trbojevic T

72 Hasler D

Kapow plays his 150th game for Manly on Friday

He has shown glimpses of late of the form that made him one of the more devestating front rowers in the game. Hopefully he'll have a big one on Friday to mark the milestone. We need him to step up with Jake and Davey out.

Takes me back to when I worked. The roster would be made up to budgets allowing x amount of FTE (full time equivalents). I could have 10 0.5 FTE which would be the equivalent of 5 fulltime employees.
I wonder what the "games played" would look like if the reference was to minutes played. KDL may be struggling to get to 2-3 game equivalent when you add the minutes up.
