Ha! 200 games and he still seems like a newbie in many ways.
Hard to believe but time flies as we get older.
It’s a remarkable achievement both for the player and our club.200 games for DCE this weekend
Joins an illustrious list of Manly greats that have played 200 games in the Maroon and White. By my count he will be the 20th player to reach that milestone
Big win against the 90's rivals would be a fitting celebration
It’s a remarkable achievement both for the player and our club.
I count (in rough order of when their Manly careers ended):
Bob Batty (disputed by the game’s administrators, who believe he only played 198, rather than 203, 1st grade games)
Fred Jones
Bob Fulton
Terry Randall
Max Krilich
Graham Eadie
Alan Thompson
Paul Vautin
Des Hasler
Cliff Lyons
Owen Cunningham
Geoff Toovey
Steve Menzies
Brent Kite
Anthony Watmough
Jason King
Jamie Lyon
Steve Matai
Brett Stewart
And this weekend - Daly Cherry-Evans
I don’t think I missed anyone. Quite a team you could field from that lot.

I had a nagging suspicion...I have now corrected the oversight.🙂You forgot Matt Ballin, 217 games and sits between Jason King and Jamie Lyon, DCE is the 21st.
Good team.
The list could be even longer, if Bill Hamilton hadn’t been pushed out in 1974; if Ian Martin hadn’t spent a year at Sawtell in 1975 and then not retired prematurely from Sydney football in 1978; if Glenn Stewart stayed fit for a year or so longer and was retained; and if Foran’s life on and off the field had panned out differently.
Geez and in just a touch over 8 years, shows he hardly ever misses a game.200 games for DCE this weekend

Very good point, he has been remarkably resilient . By the time he finishes his lifetime contract he could be our first 500 gamerGeez and in just a touch over 8 years, shows he hardly ever misses a game.
Ultimate professional in terms of his fitness and preparation. Fingers crossed he continues to stay healthy.
