And he will pick up 10 points in the RLW ratings.I believe that he will be wearing jersey 10 to mark the occasion.
You're right, I don'tknow where I got that original stat from now. But I just checked and we have only played 624 at The Fortress.
Either way it is the ground that has had the most 1st grade games played, by quite a margin. I learnt this fact at a men of league trivia night. Most other teams have changed home grounds 2 or 3 times, but we have stAyed consistent at brookieYour 698 probably included pre season and mid week comp games

Brooky should be nominated for a heritage listing by the nrl as the ground with the most continuous history.Great stat

Thanks, the trivia question must have been referring to current grounds. Funnily enough the trivia night was at nth Sydney leagues, so that probably rubs a bit more salt in!North Sydney Oval (749) has had more games played at it than Brookie has. As has the SCG (1123), but that's no surprise. Of the current grounds Brookie holds the record for most games hosted
well said!Yes Jamie Lyon has joined the 200 club, a well deserved honour for a player who will go down as one of our best ever. He is the second highest all time points scorer for Manly behind Wombat and becomes the 19th player to play 200 games for the mighty Sea Eagles. He has been a key part of the last 10 years of Manly resurgence and dominance, and if not for his personal decision to shun representative honours he would have figured prominently in NSW and Australian colours during that period as well.
When you consider the pedigree of Manly centre three quarters over our history , names such as Fulton, Branighan, Gartner, O'Connor, Hill, Innes, and Matai, it's no greater compliment than to say Killer would more than likely secure a centre spot in any greatest ever Manly side picked.
Has turned out to be a very astute buy for Manly and money well spent. Goes about his business with consistency and class every week, and is the ultimate competitor, never throws in the towel and rarely lets his opposite number get the better of him. One of the best defensive centres ever to pull on a jersey, combined with a fleetness of foot and an uncanny ability to put his winger away means he has the whole package. Will be a very deserving life membership when the honour is ultimately bestowed.
If he plays another full season then he will also become a member of the very exclusive 300 NRL Game Club.
Well done Killer, take a bow.
