I couldn't figure out why they waited so long to official announce Gorman and Barret's extension. Maybe we are going to get a major signing after all. If it's just announcing what the press have already been announcing namely TB and Gman then it will be a anticlimax for me. Fingers crossed!!

Was the DCE backflip common knowledge before the press conference a few years ago? I remember speculation was rife with two camps equally certain of their own conjecture, but from memory the first official word was the press conference.

With any luck if we have a major signing it will be a similar situation, with the presser being the first real news about it.
