The fact that he's 18th man gives me hope that he may be picked on the bench as an impact back/forward.

I have no doubt Des will pick Gojetski to replace Sir Loin, especially as Gojetski appears to like the right side better than the left. Maybe this means some better ball out to Suli, who would be a handful with some straight bursts in the wet, so not a total loss.

While it's a shame that Schmole is out injured, as his injury - and Sirro's injury - may be the catalyst for a bit of Big Shoe excitement, even if it's off the bench. 😎

like the part about him seeking Des out, I recall Melbourne being short in the front row a couple of years ago and papenhazen went and spoke to to belly ach, said he would do it, I think from memory it impressed so much he started in the pack as lock that day, it’s all about desire, hunger and the right attitude

No thanks on Gosiewski. I personally don't think he adds much to the squad. Toff however, was outstanding in the trial and bent the line continually. Get rid of Garrick as well and bring Harper in.

Jetski I think replaced Siro well in 2019. Might be wrong. It’s a no brainer he will come straight in I think. It’s who gets his bench spot. I’d love to see Schu but Sips will be good too. Neither will let us down. What’s the bet he throws Funa on the bench and this place goes into meltdown again lol

Man I feel a little bad for getting excited when I heard Siro got injured (sorry siro if you read this)

Hopefully Schu/Saddler (if he can be selected over next few weeks) get some first grade games. Olakautau hopefully gets fit before Siro and gets a chance as well. Jetski plays better on Siro's edge so i'm fine with him playing there at the start w/ Schu from bench.

Siro is past it unfortunately Cannot move laterally at all any more. His knees are shot, and this will just make him even more ineffective in 2021.

Did I just hear Dessie presser say Sironen has picked up a knee injury and will be out 4-6 weeks? Wonder if happen at training or last week's game, Rahme didn't mention anything about that in his injury report

I think he met up with Harry at the Corso, you know what happened last time Harry was there

It's the timing that gets me - Haumole last week killing it for Blacktown with Des in the crowd likey thinking "Ok - this kids ready"
Sirro out off a training injury = no brainer - Guok is in like Flynn...but a freay injury in broken play and ....The Perfect Storm is complete...
Obviously in the plans once back in 6-7 weeks, grabs a bench spot and stays in the 17 for the next 10 years.

The biggest thing with jetski is, everyone says "he's there because he can cover centre"..

Put me in at centre. . I can't keep up with wingers or centres, I will be a turnstile in defence and will get scored on almost every play they run at me, but would that be any different to putting jetski there??
Just because he "can" play out wide, doesn't mean he bloody should.
