Sipley - Impact

So good to see Sipley not only in the side but making a huge impact on games. Over the last few years I’ve always seen him a our next premier front rower in the making. Just great to see him where he needs to be and that’s playing 1st grade for manly.

Very happy to see the big guy (all 120kgs of him) in the team and playing well. It’s been a long road back after the broken leg in May19 and then no games in 2020. We’ll done Tof. As others have said with more match fitness his game will get even better.

Keppie only had 3 runs. Sipley has jumped ahead of him in my opinion! Keppie is a strong defender but is limited in go forward. Sipley is damaging and allows us to play off the back of him.
Keppie misses out for Siro when fit. Sipley stays!

Kepp made 1 good charge busting the line, but then threw a dumb nothing pass that Tigers picked up and went hot on attack...in fact I think it led to their first and only try...
Kepp does hit well in defence though and adds some steel on that side of the coin

In Keppie’s defence,for the majority of his time on the field,the Tigers had the ball,granted he was to blame in one instance,so basically he was defending for the most part

Sipley did really well and a couple of his charges set up the platform for our creative players, He is getting better each week. Our pack is youthful and strong!

Sips has been great and the best thing is with more game time his only going to keep getting better, should of been in the side ages ago, he has the opportunity and the ability to be the most damaging front rower in the game, I hope we lock him up before someone poaches him, his game won’t be going unnoticed by other clubs and their recruitment drives, please keep him in our colours.
