Brown was very good last night, suggesting that his form in recent time may have been impacted by niggling injuries.

I agree with him. TKO has been strong but he’s also been ill disciplined and we need consistency across the season, not eight rounds. Sure, he’s exceeding expectations for a 150k contract, but that doesn’t mean he should be upgraded this early. Before last night, everyone was lamenting the worst pack in the comp. We have a good win and suddenly we need to lock them into long term deals?!

I'd say playing like a decent starting prop forward on a 150k contract is a great starting point

I recall a recent game he was underwhelming, but has also had 2 or3 strong performances as witnessed last night with the remaining games being satisfactory.

I had no plan to watch him closely, but noticed in the first 20 mins he was a standout with manlys go forward and defence, and I believe stayed on until approx the 30th minute?

He is not a first choice starting player, but to fill a 30 man roster and have a prop of his level for reportedly 150k who can fill in like he has, I've no complaints.

I see other clubs have 250k+ back up props who aren't at his level. He's at the end of his career, but believes he still has something to offer, and for a 4th/5th choice prop at 150k, he's doing more than a job at manly in my eyes.
