I am under the view Seibold has improved the squad this season and his selection of Hoppa this season shows he will make tough decisions on players performance.
I do think he could have made some changes in the middle today when we were getting dominated after Lodge and Tent went off, 36 minutes of Alioia, Brown and Jake didn’t work.
The bench was not as effective today and the last couple of games Bully has had reduced minutes, the make up of having three middles on the bench going into next week could change, definitely if we get the Sharks again Sipley should be considered over Brown or Alioia for me, horses for courses approach.

For a so-called leader amongst our forwards, Aloiai was nowhere to be seen today. Very disappointing.
Thought they dominated us when Alioia, Jake, Brown, Lawton and Guaca were on the paddock together, only Guaca stood up and got us over the advantage line, Jake and Browns post contract meters were extremely poor today.

He only got 35 minutes and run for over a hundred metres and made 19 tackles (0 missed).
I dont think any of the forwards played bad even though they were completely dominated by a better side. That happens.
We dont seem to have the right mix. Why is Nathan Brown used as a ball player? Thats one big question I have. But I think we have got our starting props rights with Lodge and Paseka.
Hooker needs sorting, we really need Crockers defence but we must have a better attacking option and sadly Simpkin seems completely out of favour and not even named in the squad the last few weeks.
In my opinion we have no attack if Tom doesnt play and our defence falls apart.

did anyone observe in the presser when the reporter asked Seibold if he thinks they have what it takes to go all the way, his tone and hesitation is not what you want in a coach at a press conference,should back his team in a stern matter with confidence

After leaking 96 points in last 3 games he would choke if he said yes. Reality is we still can't tackle and to say we've improved on last year is only down to Turbo playing 17 games this year compared to 11 last year. Nothing else has changed.

Without Turbo I think we have a squad that should finish between 10th to 13th. With Turbo 5th if he plays 20 plus games. We're nowhere near the top 4.

Turbo will never get 20 games a season again.
When will Manly accept the fact that Croker is completely inadequate at dummy-half. Lacks speed and any suggestion of evasiveness. Service is also far to predictable. On balance is marked negative for Manly.

He has played 150 games in 10 years. Don't need much of a calculator to see that's 15 games a year.
Or more importantly, has missed at least 100 games out injured.

We are better than Canterbury, but not the top five. The 'Boys have an excellent squad on paper, and when they are switched on they could beat anyone. Easts have by far the best squad on paper, but hopefully the saying "money buys success" doesn't come true this season. Melbourne has some great players but its strength is 'average' players getting the maximum from themselves plus an inspirational coach. Penrith surely can't keep winning when their squad is decimated after each premiership. Surely.
Cronulla surprised me today. I didn't think it was that good. Its back five are as good as any of the teams and it has a versatile pack. No other team has handled Manly as easily as Cronulla did today. Whether it can play as consistently well is the question, but of all the contenders I'd be most content if the Sharks won the comp.
After today, any thoughts of a Manly premiership have been consigned to the scrap heap.
