I've been saying brown and bully off the bench is good for impact but after that first 20 mins I'm not so sure now.

Didn't help aloiai getting hurt in the first play.

I'm not saying he was awesome..but i'll repeat my initial statement - i don't get the Tom hate.

I think its because he will always be compared to his 21 season. That, and probably compounded frustration with all his injuries over the years hasn't helped. I love Tom, I love him at fullback but he isn't the same player anymore. Still a great player, but not a million dollar one

He played ok though wasn’t at the level of the last two weeks, the ruck speed didn’t help Turbo.

Usually I'm feeling very angry after a loss but I'm not angry tonight, just disappointed. If we had our best 17 playing we would have beaten them by 20 points I reckon.

Surely, somewhere in the Rugby League world there would of been a better player than waddell we could of signed instead of him. Like honestly, I think some coaches get blinded by the numbers rather than what's in front of them. I feel the same away about burbo funnily enough, albeit much much better than waddell

Basically every team in the comp has there Corey Waddells. Just the reality of the salary cap. For a minimum deal he’s about as good as your going to get so don’t really fault him for that. But we know what he is, decent player for squad cover but ideally shouldn’t be in the 17 week to week.

Rorters got the calls.

1. Teddy forward pass to Joseph who scored.
2. Waddell getting pushed of the ball by Radley, this was rubbish from the officials..
3. Turbo ball got called forward in which Faulalo scored.
4. The constant slowing down in the ruck by the Rorters after Klown set the precedent with the Rorters first set in penalising Lawton for slowing the ruck!!!

What happened to Simpkin? Only 26 minutes.

Turbo made 210 metres with the ball and was heavily marked all game. Unfortunately when we have so many back rowers playing in the backline due to concussions, there is only so much he can conjure behind a forward pack that was outgunned for most of the game.

That was a great effort, unfortunately we did not win.

Also, Jennings shouldn't have been allowed to return to the NRL.

I thought the way Gordie was playing kept Simpkin on the pine.

I get this. This game reminded me of that South’s game… just unfortunate with the players unavailable to make it a better reflection of the teams involved.

No I'm sorry I don't agree with that. You think on a minimum deal he is the best your gonna get because the numbers say he has played 60 nrl games for eg.. but the reality is there are better players that could offer more that don't have NRL experience. It's just a matter of scouting them.

If Turbo turned up (or even DCE in the first half for that matter), we wouldn’t be worrying about the workers like Waddell.

Missing Saab and Garrick for a large chunk of the match was telling, not to mention Ola who would of been the game breaker in that last crazy 15mins.
