Funnily enough we usually go ok against the top teams , its the usually the games we are expected to win where we lose. This is a huge game for us and i'm excited to see if we can back up last weeks performance!

I said a few weeks back that these close games were nearly giving me heart failure well I just got admitted to hospital with the likely outcome a Pacemaker … Go Manly 🦅🦅🦅🦅
Even with a Pacemaker only YOU can make a difference feathered friend
Please make the effort and look after your big beautiful Passionate Manly heart

NOTE:
Moderate-to-vigorous exercise, such as aerobic activity and strength training, are safe for people with a pacemaker. Individuals who have been inactive and start moving get the biggest bang for their buck. Experts now say that any physical activity counts toward better health — even just a few minutes!

There's still time to leave me something! Kids are soooo totes ungrateful!!!

Kidding, I hope things get sorted nightster, all the very best.

Manly 13+

The salary cap for 2024 is $11.65M including special allowances. The NRL website tells me the average annual salary of an NRL player is currently $370,000. When I look at Easts' XIII against us I can't see a player who wouldn't be on $600,000 to $1m. Then add JWH and Manu who each would be on $800,000. Do the maths.
Further down the NRL website is the main reason for a salary cap: "to assist spreading the talent"....

A complete & utter joke

Is there a way to mike-up the questioners? The problem has existed for ever at Manly media conferences. The questions are too garbled to hear or understand.
At least the players being interviewed are lucid and haven't learned bad habits from their previous coach, Mumbles.

Yeah but how much of the money above $370,000 per player is coming from golf games with Nick Politis, discounted real estate, guaranteed jobs after they retire, or overpaid work for their wives?

The salary cap is way too easy to rort and the NRL wilfully turn a blind eye to it.

I hope you get well soon. Maybe you should watch replays during your recovery.

Hooper gives us no hope on NRL360.

What a knob
I like this. I like us being the underdogs against a top 4 side. Pressure is all on the Roosters....multi million dollar team spluttering towards the finals. There is something seriously missing with the Roosters this year and I think we will prove that on Saturday. I think Cherry will be on a mission for a few reasons but particularly when he sees his old mate the not-so-admirable Crichton on the other side!!!
