with the injury to hopoati our backline defence is shaky. Rooster will be working on this.

Agree @Mark from Brisbane. Certain aspects of this team have changed. They seem to have adopted the next man up attitude and they know what to do.Dunno why but I’m quietly confident, even with our outs.
Just seems that with the outs the next one steps up and does a job.
Good times ahead
I'd even go one step further. If Simpkin maintains his form and the team continues its momentum let Froggy have the rest of the year off and get his body 1000% right. Then he and Jake can fight it out for the starting spot next year.If Frog was back. Ease him into it off the bench in place of Jackie. Simpkins is a big part of our turn around IMO.
I think Simpkin had been a great pick-up for us. His delivery from dummy-half is spot-on and he's only going to get better. Tigers let a good one go imo.I'd even go one step further. I assume they'll have Tupouniua in the centres as well, so Bent up against him should even out.Burbo in the center's for mine and TT ont he wind. I watched the Blacktown game and Clayton Faulalo's defence was very poor. We cant afford that this weekend.
Have a look at that Easts' 13! Every one of them has represented his country, even Sam Walker who has played for the Prime Ministers XIII. It remarkable that one club can retain such talent and yet the NRL choses to trumpet the fairness of the Cap. And it's also a black mark against the coach who can't get such a bloated team to the top of the ladder.NRL Team List: Round 21 vs Roosters
Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Coach Anthony Seibold has named his team to play the Sydney Roosters on Saturday, July 27, in round 21 of the Telstra Premiership.www.seaeagles.com.au
Definitely a good team, though for me they were better suited with Radley in the middle, Walker and Keary have been hot and cold controlling the game since Radley moved to the edge.Have a look at that Easts' 13! Geeze, even Twenty would have had success with Easts' roster.
But they play there because of the culture and winning record against top teams 🤷♂️Have a look at that Easts' 13! Not a bad idea but if we make the Finals (or even leading up to them) Croker's defence through the middle could be very important. Dropping Gordie (not going bad) for Croker and Simpkins could be the go.I'd even go one step further. If Simpkin maintains his form and the team continues its momentum let Froggy have the rest of the year off and get his body 1000% right. I’ve thought this for a while.I reckon 4th's a poison challace. Sounds good, but Melbourne in Melbourne first week. FFS sake. Hard task. Would prefer 5th and play a Canberra, Cowboys, Dolphins or even Bulldogs @ a sold out Brookie, first week. Or am I being too negative?
No way… go hard and go for it all. We can knock off the Storm. We’ve shown it this year, and last year, that we are capable. I hate the idea of finishing outside the 4 on the premise we fear playing any particular team. If we are not striving for the top then why bother… (geez, I’m sounding like @BOZO 😂)I reckon 4th's a poison challace. Sounds good, but Melbourne in Melbourne first week. FFS sake. Hard task.
