Agree @Mark from Brisbane. Certain aspects of this team have changed. They seem to have adopted the next man up attitude and they know what to do.
Previously, I recall a player has come up, only to make up the numbers.

Just look at the Rooster's general line up and particularly on an individual level and think , should be a damm hard side to beat but looks like they are having some problems .
Then even with a couple of key outs , Manly mainly showing some pretty resilient and good footy for some time now .
Were certainly able to match them in that early season game and no reason why this can not be replicated on current form and if Manly can generally hold their game together .
Faulalo would have slightly less defensive responsibility on a wing and Burbo "s extra mobility on an edge may be more preferable but would not be surprised for him to be selected in the centres .
Wonder how Froggy is getting on but Simpkin did well on Sunday so that is certainly pleasing

I'd even go one step further. If Simpkin maintains his form and the team continues its momentum let Froggy have the rest of the year off and get his body 1000% right. Then he and Jake can fight it out for the starting spot next year.

I think Simpkin had been a great pick-up for us. His delivery from dummy-half is spot-on and he's only going to get better. Tigers let a good one go imo.

Surely May will start for Chooks instead of Leniu. Leniu goes for about 23 minutes but that's about it, they'd want him as bench impact I would think.

No real surprises in that team. I suspect Koula might be returning earlier than thought given they chose Burbo in the centres. Croker will surely be back next game. I think our full strength would now be:

It remarkable that one club can retain such talent and yet the NRL choses to trumpet the fairness of the Cap. And it's also a black mark against the coach who can't get such a bloated team to the top of the ladder.
Geeze, even Twenty would have had success with Easts' roster.

Definitely a good team, though for me they were better suited with Radley in the middle, Walker and Keary have been hot and cold controlling the game since Radley moved to the edge.

Fancy the teams chances now tent is back in the team, will drag in defenders as he did against the Titans and create room on the edges.

East's are the best team in the comp on paper. Yet they just got towelled up by the comp leading storm.

We can do the pricks. It's a great opportunity to see where we are at.

Let's put the spot light on AOA in this one. He has really stood up in some big games the last couple of years. A huge opportunity for AOA. In terms of a game for our season, they don't get much bigger than this week.

But they play there because of the culture and winning record against top teams 🤷‍♂️

Not a bad idea but if we make the Finals (or even leading up to them) Croker's defence through the middle could be very important. Dropping Gordie (not going bad) for Croker and Simpkins could be the go.

No way… go hard and go for it all. We can knock off the Storm. We’ve shown it this year, and last year, that we are capable. I hate the idea of finishing outside the 4 on the premise we fear playing any particular team. If we are not striving for the top then why bother… (geez, I’m sounding like @BOZO 😂)
