So according to news reports (believe it if you will) the Rorters are shopping Angus Crichton around in order to get Suaali in under the sombrero BUT Crichton is on close to $1mil a season. HOW THE FUK can they fit in all these players who are on around $1mil a season.
Tedesco
Morris twins
Keary
Cordner
Crichton
JWH
Friend
$BW
Radley

And maybe the return of Pearce

It’s truly amazing how they operate isn’t it ( and I don’t mean that in a cynical way ) it must be incredible to have the who’s who of business on board plus one of Australia’s richest men as your major benefactor.

Putting aside jealousy , envy and those obvious things we all have they certainly know how to work the system.

For 10years they have incrementally pushed their cap, and because the nrl turn a blind eye its got worse and worse. Sublime was a long time ago, ridiculous is here.

It would also be incredible to have the former NRL salary cap auditor on the payroll!

So this young bloke is now prepared to join the roosters for half of what the souths offer was according to the SMH.
Yeah so a bloke who was jumping between Souths and union over a few dollars now doesn't care about money.
Surely this is enough for the NRL to finally look into the rorters, it has gone way past a joke now, its more of a F you what are you going to do about it with a smug facial expression.

Also is $BW being part of the negotiations a other way to bypass the salary cap, bring a recently retired player into the talks with a consultancy fee of $250,000.

The NRL doesn't care because Politis is in a powerful position and can no doubt dictate terms. Like Rudd is getting petition out to call for a Royal Commission into the media, mainly because of the Murdoch domination (and hasn't the Telegraph fought back with very questionable front page accusations against Rudd no doubt in retaliation), so maybe a petition should be launched into the workings of the NRL, which in recent years seems to be almost blatantly favouring certain clubs to the detriment of the game.

Angus Chricton isn't going anywhere either. Believe me... it's all fluff and he will re-sign on a reduced 3 year contract. It's a complete farce. Look at all the players the Panthers will need to let go just because they made one GF.

The Rorters weren't expecting the Morris twins or Friend to go around next season either. They have upgraded Keary, are about to re-sign Tedesco and Chricton, and now they are in a position to sign Suuali for next year as well. They have released virtually no one... aaaaand they had a spare $400k to sign SBW this year.

Poor old Tigers must be mighty p1ssed off having their cap destroyed for two seasons over an ambassador role for Farrah. Then watching this unending stream of blatant cheating.

The media are gutless hacks.

Where are you #Peter V'Landy? Just another in house crooked appointment who happens to come from the same region as Nick Politis.

Pisses me off majorly, it’s just one big ****ing RORT !!

Bunnies to pay him his 60K for 2021(what he is contracted for) even if he does not get on the field to ensure he will not play for the Roosters next year lol....
But I assume he will be at Easts in 2022 when he'll be 18 or 19.
Frankly, I can't see why Souffs would waste $60,000.

South Sydney are prepared to release Joseph Suaalii to the Roosters if they get Daniel Tupou in return via a player swap.

Suaalii is agitating for a release from the final year of his Rabbitohs contract in order to shift to Bondi Junction immediately. However, Souths won’t gift the most hyped schoolboy of his generation to their arch rivals without getting something back in return.

The Herald can reveal that South Sydney powerbrokers have identified Tupou as the replacement they want for Suaalii. Like Suaalii, the NSW winger has only one more year to run on his current contract and the Rabbitohs have asked a third party to put the proposal to the tri-colours.

The overture is an intriguing one. Tupou is an established representative star with 175 NRL games to his credit. Suaalii, meanwhile, is considered as hot a prospect as there has been in recent memory, although he is just 17 years old and hasn’t played against men.

There is potential risk and reward for both parties and it remains to be seen whether the Roosters will entertain the swap.

The Roosters had already proposed a $50,000 compensation payment in a bid to secure the release, which the Rabbitohs rejected.

If the Roosters aren't prepared to swap Tupou, Souths will demand another player of a similar standing in order to release Sualii, potentially including one of the Morris twins, Josh or Brett.

If a deal can’t be reached, Suaalii is facing the prospect of sitting out two entire seasons. The King’s School student is on a $60,000 contract with Souths for next year, one that he doesn’t want to fulfil. The Rabbitohs were prepared to let him sit out next season and write off the money, just to spite the Roosters. However, the swap proposal was hatched in a bid to break the impasse so that both parties can benefit.

Suaalii sat out the entire GPS rugby season in 2020 and is planning to do likewise next year, despite enjoying a boarding scholarship worth more than $65,000. His last game of football was for the Australian under-18s schoolboys rugby side, which toured New Zealand last October.

Looks like the Bunnies have folded and will now just take a larger payment.

So the rort just keeps on happening.

There is nothing to say this kid will turn out to be any better than Hoppa Jnr, who has alienated Manly officials and fans and would be struggling to be picked in the top 30 of any NRL club.
He either has a ridiculously high ego or else has been taking advice from people with the IQ of Hoppa Snr.

IMO the NRL is a joke and a puppet and the power brokers are the puppeteers. This is becoming an insult to our intelligence.
