Rest in Peace thread.

Legendary pop/R&B vocalist Roberta Flack, who was launched to stardom in the early ’70s by the Grammy-winning hits “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” and “Killing Me Softly With His Song,” has died, according to a statement from her rep. No cause of death was cited; she was 88.

Hoping you're feeling as well as can be expected.

Flying with eagles now.
Thank you for your Kind and Throughfall Message feathered friend <3

A song for Dear Feathered friends like you @globaleagle
A Dear feathered friend, A Dear feathered friend
He'll never let you down
He's honest and faithful right up to the end
That wonderful, wonderful Dear feathered friend

Doug Laughton has died aged 80
A name probably not known to many on here, he played in the last GB team to win the ashes in 1970 and saw success as a player with St Helens, Wigan and hometown club Widnes (where I remember watching him as a young lad). He was probably an even better coach, winning numerous honours including defeating Canberra in the first official world club championship. Probably best known as the man who brought Martin Offiah and Johnathan Davies to rugby league amongst many raids on rugby union. Rest well Dougie

As heard on the tv,

RIP June Penn, Scott's grand'ma (Rick's mum).
