Good question. Although I do recall him persisting with Mark Bryant for a couple of years despite howls from Manly fans, and he really hit his straps just around September 2008.Boyle?
What am I missing here?
I reckon Latrell Mitchell would have had a hard time manufacturing points with the way our forwards gassed in the second half on that match. In saying that, what an additional half should do for us this week is provide a kicking option that can turn the opposition pack around and allow us to play on the front foot (which helps keep the petrol tank full).Agree that injuries killed us but Des made a good point in the post game presser that we did well enough with the positional changes. Just didn't do enough with the ball to win the game and that in my opinion comes down to having another creative option in the halves with all of our other strike options going off injured.
I guess it shows how out of form Perrett and Paseka are - or they are not 100% fitBoyle?

He's literally a slow boil but has the size we needBoyle?

Elliot too slow for wing. Suli would be wing. When full strength des will have a hard time picking a team. I’d go
1. Turbo
2. Elliot
3. Parker
4. Walker
5. Garrick
6. Crocker
7. Dce
8. Afb
9. Api
10. Tapau
11. Thomo
12. Siro
13. Turbo
14. Mainu
15. Waddell
16. Jetski
17. Tangle/boyle
Agreed suli to wing but not sure he is any faster than elliott. Elliott and parker along with hoppa and funa as back up optionsElliot too slow for wing. Suli would be wing.

I’m changing my footy tip.

That's a bit harsh HM.Disappointed in Kelepi and Paseka.
Their lack of mongrel is well hidden behind 120kg of muscle 🙁
Sipley!Boyle?

Walker should also be able to keep up and support Fainu if he bursts throughWalker and Garrick could be quite a deadly combination on our right. Looking forward to this game!
YepI don't think Cust would have saved us. The issue was injuries. We were going along quite nicely but with all our troops going down in battle, we ended up losing touch with the middle third of the field. When your interchange is a mess and you have forwards playing in the backs, there is no one left with the energy to hold the middle. Basically, they ground us down until we had nothing left in the tank and scored a few tries at the back end of game against tired bodies.
STAY AWAY!!! You tip us and we lose, see the pattern? Tip the Sharks mate and enjoy the Eagles win.
Gummies at home will be too strong especially if their 2 props play. We lack guile and speed without DCE and Turbo plus I fear we're playing too many injured players who need a rest. Would be better to sacrifice this week and give all the injured guys another week to recover.
Gummies x 8
Not too late to back the Gummies for the sakes of See Eagles supporters worldwide!Good work Mick
I’ve let the side down and gone for the Eagles!!
