No Moylan - that’s at least something. Only Xerri in the backs with genuine speed so definitely winnable if we play well and get a fairish go I reckon.

Funny thing in such a close competition. We win, we could be in the top 4. If we lose, we could be out of the 8 altogether. I think Des made a mistake having Siro at 5/8 instead of Cust but I understand the rationale considering he was one reserve grade game back from a serious injury. Let's hope either Croker or Cust line up alongside Elgey this week.

We were going along quite nicely but with all our troops going down in battle, we ended up losing touch with the middle third of the field. When your interchange is a mess and you have forwards playing in the backs, there is no one left with the energy to hold the middle. Basically, they ground us down until we had nothing left in the tank and scored a few tries at the back end of game against tired bodies.

Agree that injuries killed us but Des made a good point in the post game presser that we did well enough with the positional changes. Just didn't do enough with the ball to win the game and that in my opinion comes down to having another creative option in the halves with all of our other strike options going off injured.
