Manly stars Tom Trbojevic and Daly Cherry-Evans failed to finish their match against the Warriors.
Trbojevic, Manly's superstar fullback, and Cherry-Evans, their inspirational captain, were forced from the field as the Sea Eagles crashed 36-16 to the Warriors in Auckland.
Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold reported that Trbojevic had felt tightness in his hamstring and had come from the field in the 67th minute for treatment but did not return.
Cherry-Evans followed soon after and was in obvious pain as he clutched at his lower back, leaving Manly to finish the match with just 12 players after running out of interchanges.
"I think Chez had back spasm there, so we need to get him checked and Turbo had a bit of tightness. We need to get both of those guys checked," Seibold said.
The Sea Eagles lost centre Tolu Koula to a corked thigh before the game.
The Manly speedster suffered the injury against the Cowboys in Round 1 and failed to recover in time, with Clayton Faulalo taking his place.
