Wasn't Fozz's best game but he's probably still our best attacking play maker. Shoey may move into that role. If he can get some time on the field Cust can handle the short passes to charging forwards close to the opposition line.
And what attack did the 1.3 million dollar man provide?
18 consecutive tackles on panthers line, and he touched the ball twice. Once from dummy half.
Went missing... again.

When has Walker played in the centres where he excels lately ?
Sone would argue he has more room playing fullback than Centre to show his attacking prowess and he had 5 games there - with what zero try’s and zero try assists and plenty of defensive deficiencies and errors - albeit so did a lot of the side Parker included. The fact he’s not played is also part of my argument Bozo he’s bloody injury prone and never on the field anyway. Time moves on, players evolve sone improve sone don’t. Time will tell if he’s a better option he’ll get a shot and I’m more than happy to be proven wrong if/when that occurs with Dylan. I agree with a lot of your views Bozo but right now for mine Parker holds his spot.

This is why we have a forum . To have our say

Have a good night feathered friend .

Look Penrith were red hot. We barely hung on in the first half but lots of grit and determination was shown. 4 weeks ago we would have been smashed by 60! We didn't have much penetration in attack in the first half but we didn't have a great deal of ball and we completed at a very high percentage. So that was a positive. Defence was always on the cliff edge in the first half but we scrambled well. Second half the forwards pulled their finger out. Sipley was fabulous getting us on the front foot, Haulole also was a beast and rag dolled Kikau a few times - completely dominated him - he will be something very special, Aloiai was superb so was Marty. Harper was also superb and Saab pretty solid. Paseka offers so much but so far only delivers in spurts - he has alll the talent possible - he just needs to dig in. Parker's defence was great - he is such a tough hard as nails player - he gives everything but we need an attacking Centre there but one who can also defend decently. Is that Walker.... let's see in a few weeks. We had our opportunities in the second half but we didn't take them. The Garrick error was crucial. All in all - a great effort but I was still left feeling we were lucky to only be 10 down at half time and yet also feeling peeved that we could have won. Those two missed kicks also were killers - we could have been down 22 - 20 and really on the hunt. We realy need to give the Warriors a thrashing next week and then I will know we will make the 8. Still loads to be positive about and gee we have some very good players coming through in Mats - wow they played at a very high standard - very NRLish.

Sad isn't it. Every attacking set the Panthers had, Cleary was in there: handling the ball four or five times and directing the attack. When we were attacking Cherry was out the back somewhere making a cup of tea. That's why the ball HAS to go to Foz or Shoey in attack. They may make mistakes but at least they get involved. I was disappointed with Cherry's kicking game today. He kept lobbing the ball to their most dangerous attacking weapons.

I can't wait until the opposition figure out how to sort Nathan Cleary, he constantly turns his back in the process of a show and go pass, I hope coaches start sending blokes out to smash him in the open ribs on suspicion when he does it, because once they start doing that he will think twice about doing it in the future. He might get a couple of try assists out of it but he will miss more games with broken ribs and kidney trouble if they make a concerted effort to do it. Brian Toe'o seems to duck under tackles constantly, it won't be long before he ends up like Tafua, there is no room for short wingers in the modern game.

Big game next week. Need to bounce back. Cannot afford back to back losses
Plus we haven't won at home in 9 months or so plus Tom's 100th game next weekend and mothers day no excuses. I just want us to win at home.

If we can't get up next weekend the we are in trouble for the rest of the season.

If we click and play to our potential like today in parts warriors may struggle.

Manly 30- warriors 16 my early prediction.

I don't mind Parker he really does give it his all but I do wish he had a bit more skill in passing under pressure. Having said that even if he did get the ball to garrick im pretty confident he would just get stripped or drop it cold with the way he played today xD shoe will learn the more he plays don't forget guys he's only played 6 games lol. We definitely need to work on our line speed cleary looked like he had 10 minutes to pass or set something up. We did well considering the ref's seemed to give us no chance in this game at all. DCE was quite but im sure he will bounce back. Well done boys on to next week!

We desperately need Fainu. Just watch his siblings in Harold Matts GF. That family have some really talented kids. In a couple of years they will be something else. Just really hope that Mase can come back.
That is if he’s not playing for the long bay raiders...

At this stage of the round, thanks to the roosters smashing the knights, sea eagles with f/a have moved up the ladder into 10th #rainbows&unicorns

... by this stage of the season and against this level opposition - and after what we've been through - he will really want a committed 80 minutes. If not, expect a rare Des explosion. From memory one occurred years ago when building his first champion squad and they went to Brisbane with high hopes but got hammered. Another time was when building champion squad #2 and he ripped the door off at Parramatta!
I sense a season defining game coming up...

Well that was one of my better predictions!!

Disappointing to lose but the Panthers deserved the win. I think some of our less experienced guys will take plenty from that game, especially Schu, Harper, Haumole, and Saab. Also Paseka, he is still getting used to being top gun prop since AFB's departure.
I like that Des seems to have laid down the law, I'm confident this Manly side will be a fair bit better by season's end.

Yeah nah he's not a fullback and he won a premiership at center and played origin there.. he just needs a shot there if turbo didn't hurt himself we would of seen it round 1
