The Panthers dominated us in two positions - half and hooker. We might grab some space back by giving Cust more time at hooker and we will definitely gain some ground when we have Fainu or Lawton available. As for half/play-maker - IF our forward totally dominate DCE can set up points. Otherwise our best chance is to let Foz and Shoe run the attacking plays.

Foz had plenty of opportunity today and came up with a few clangers. I'd consider giving him a rest.

Today We Have seen that in close contests against top opposition It is Harder for Tom to single handedly win the game for us and we need players that can make an impact in defence as well as attack and the rebuilding will fix that

We still have new combinations etc and players coming back. They were at full strength and apparently we put more points on the Panthers then any other side this year. Very good signs! Ref also ****ed us all game.. cleary also so good. They have a big weakness... their fullback! Come the finals we can get them

So much better in defence than we were a month ago, would have loved the win but if we eliminate some of the simple errors we win that. Credit to Penriths defence, especially on the right side, not many sides would have held us out. Keep this up and avoid injuries and we become a serious danger team come September.

Said it earlier and weeks ago too, Penrith are far and away the best team in the comp. we have gone right up Tge pecking order though.

Cust needs to be on earlier ,Croker is solid offers slow passes and zero attack from dummy half

Agree, but I’m not gonna hammer Croker as he does a sheesh load in defence. It’s our use of he and Cust that’s the problem. If Fainu/lawnton cone in Croker has the edge on Cust for the 14 at the minute. Could change tho

Dogs Broncos tigers sharks cowboys would have all been beaten today by 30+ the way the Panthers were playing today, we held our own for about 65 minutes of that game.

We were not full strength at all and still have some very inexperienced players in our team, only first year in the NRL yet we pushed the premiership heavy weights all the way.

If we stay fit and can sneak into the top 8 some how with either lawton or fainu at 9 later on in the year walker back and turbo not injured we would be a side not one would wan to play in finals.

Still as a side we are a work in progress but we are definitely improving.

We keep going like this well more than sneak in I think, we’ll be a good show come finals. It’s prob known from my posts I’m not the biggest fan of Walker. He will need to earn his spot back in for mine. He will get a shot tho as I’m sure we get injuries.

The draw is a f$&@en disgrace how is it we will have played 9 games and played 2 teams twice. It’s stupid surely a draw can be developed where we play the teams who we play twice Tge 2nd time in the back half of the season. That said our draw is starting to look quite favourable.
