Get ready for the people bagging on the club when it looked like he was going to Dogs to do a reverse back into saying he’s a horrible option 😂.

Believe he won a few premierships as an assistant before he took over at Newcastle. It ended horrible for him but it wasn’t a bad stint overall taking the wooden spooners to finals 4 out of 6 years. Should go well with less pressure on him - Another smart signing IMO.

I’m not fussed either way, but it is possible to both believe AOB is not much chop and to also believe it reflects badly on the club that he rejected us.

No one has really mentioned him but in the future I would love to see Foz work in our coaching staff. I think he would make a great assistant coach at Manly, tough, Manly DNA and could transition into a head coach in the future. Pretty sure he’s snagged a coaching role at the Titans next year but would love to see him back at Manly in the future.

I imagine there will be dissapointment with who we now bring in given it'll be slightly rushed as we were 99% sure of acquiring AOB.

I can see the benefit of AOB as a defensive coach. That said, the knights attack has been pretty poor for many years, and i cannot see his appeal as an attacking coach.
