I hate to say it but to be fair you would think the DV case would have shaken him around a fair bit and it is not unreasonable to think that has had some impact on his mental health.

No idea if you can tie the two together though for this case

Bottom line is he has some major core issues and probably no idea how to deal with them. I accept and understand his $hit. Is he ready to genuinely embraced it? That means AAA if he doesn’t have some alternative avenue (AAA is not the only way).

That was the first thought that sprang to my mind.

Look, I don’t personally wish him any ill will. I reckon you’re right, he probably has gone downhill with his mental health.

However, his media career should be laid to rest. He does not have an ounce of credibility left and that’s something he brought on himself…people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. He never held back on anyone else’s misfortunes and in doing so, has really put himself in the line of fire.

That is the crux of the issue…

MH, CTE, (insert causation here) MAY have all contributed to Kentys recent stumbles but it is pretty bloody hard to feel sorry for a bloke that has made a career off capitalising on the trials and tribulations of others… he has never afforded the benefit of the doubt to others and his chooks have come home to roost… f*ck him…

Article in today's SMH, the barrister of the guy he tried to fight reckons Kenty had drunk 21 schooners before the biffo.

Surprised he could stand, walk or even crawl after that, let alone throw some haymakers.
Probably just his "real" self coming out after losing any inhibitions due to drink. I've had way more to drink than that and still managed to maintain my self control but I'm a pretty chilled fella and don't let things get to me. If you know you can't handle it then don't drink or just do it in moderation.

21 schooners for a pom is breakfast.

Back around the age of 20 drinking that many happened occasionally but in my 50s those days are well over.
I stop well before that, don’t like how the way you feel the next day.
I think I had 1 or 2 big drinks in the last 5 years and stay happy and in control but i prefer to not stumble around looking like a d1ckhead.

Kent should try limit himself while in public, the average joe can get away with it but when your in the media you need to be smarter especially when you criticise others as part of your job.
Need to be more like Danny, he will criticise while staying clean himself.
