I predicted a Sharks slump last week before they played us, unfortunately it came a week later than I’d hoped...was always going to happen though.

They’re a good side and they’ll bounce back but after a whirlwind start to the year that was full of high energy, it was inevitable that they would taper off at some stage before taking flight again. They’re a new side with a new coach and they’re still learning how it works at the top.

Credit to Brisbane for taking advantage, but that was a lethargic Sharks compared to what we’ve seen so I wouldn’t read too much into the result.

Agree. And I was thinking how great their fitness in defence held up in such hot and humid conditions but then they might be a bit acclimatised to it being based in Northern Queensland.
Very impressive just the same.
