Other Games [Round 7, 2022]

South’s will miss a few props next week as well. Might level up the playing field a little with all our injuries and Mole suspension.

Completion is King 44/45 for the Tigers. Get the basics right and you are always in with a chance to win. 2 big scalps in a 5 day turn around very impressive.

Very happy for Hastings also, always thought he had potential even when he was with us but good to see he’s sorted himself out and playing good footy.

Not necessarily. The Bulldogs had the best completion rate @ 80% in 2021. They came motherless last.

It's what you do with the completions. Tigers scored some good tries, which capped off the high completion rate.

Odds for the Dogs to collect another spoon are shortening.

Has anyone seen the fan videos from Suncorp tonight?

The [drunk] clown who was yelling out during the minute silence got into a fight with both a Dogs and Broncos fan ... who cleaned his clock.
Yeah I put up the thread

Old mate cops a flogging for disrespecting ANZACS minute silence.

That was at midnight, so you may have missed it.
Very interesting how posters saw this. I reckon 50/50 (using my incredible mathematical abilities to come up with that percentage @:p)

I think the error count was something like 13-2. Couple that with the completions you mentioned, that is bloody impressive.

Moving Titan’s David Fafita to centre, I read there might’ve been a breakdown in communication.
It was meant to be, move him to the CENTRE of the field to get more ball, not away from it.
😉

Nice to see Hastings & Brooks tongue kissing each other at the finish...
Obviously forming a great combination
I think I’ve made it known that I’ve never been a Brooks fan. But what I was most impressed about him tonight was not just his 65 metre try, his winning field goal, and his all round general play was the post game interview on Fox. Of course everyone wanted to piss in his pocket, but he went out of his way (twice) to acknowledge what Hastings has done for his game, and he meant it. Showed a lot of humility. Well done on that.

Getting rid of Reynolds is coming back to bite them on the acre, Cody Walker is only a shadow of the player he was when working in tandem with Reynolds, a long season coming up for the bunnies imo

I really hope your death riding of the bunnies is correct.
You realise we play them next match and they have consistently towled us in recent years 😀

And I think Hastings did similar last week
