He is the type of #6 that needs an organising #7 so he can play his own game (who does that remind you of?). Take away Adam Reynolds and he would struggle big time. The fact they have a large part of their premiership squad helps too.

Having said that, the chip kick to Johnston had Cliff Lyons written all over it.

Looking at the ladder, the 7th placed team has 9 wins and 5 losses. That is incredible. There is a huge gulf between the top 7 teams and everyone else

Very polished performance from Souths. Good game to watch as well with a low penalty count. Gutho has been pretty good in a losing side and by far their best player. Reynolds has been a huge pickup for Souths. Would have loved him at our club. Tough, organised, confident, classy.

Souths depth and shape in attack and the lanes ran by all the option runners is far and away best in the NRL.
The way the outside attack slides wide off the ball as the edge runners pour into holes has the defence in tatters....good to watch when done so smoothly and constantly creates a 1-2 man overlap.

The thing I like about Souths this year is they have eliminated a lot of the grubbish stuff from their play, S Burgess excepted

Damn, tonight has been an injury-fest at the SFS.

Napa with a high ankle sprain (like what Tommy had), RCG with a broken jaw....and that looked very very nasty for Latrell Mitchell, but completely accidental. At least he is able to move and they are only taking him off like that as a precaution.
