Other Games [Round 1, 2022]

So I’d appreciate in a quick few words an update on how each team looked.

Penrith looked great - fast, strong and clinical across the park. Almost unstoppable, really. We certainly couldn't stop them. Tough yardstick (or YARTstick), but we looked pretty much like we have for as long as I care to remember: good in patches, really poor in others. We had chances to get into the game, especially early on, but all our mistakes (and there were plenty of those) came back to haunt us and Penrith wouldn't let up.

Only saw the second half of the Sharks and Raiders but both looked pretty good to me, definitely contenders for spots in the top eight. Some tough forwards and skilful backs in both teams. They both looked like they would have towelled us up as well.

Didn't see the South/Broncos games but by all reports it was fairly ordinary. Games in front of an open fire sounds like a much better way to spend your time, mate🙂

As for the Souths/Broncs game, Souths were awful...the words that come to mind are bumbling, inept and clueless in attack. Quite a contrast from last year's Rabbits without Mitchell, Reynolds and Walker was struggling. The Broncs weren't much better but took the limited chances that they created. They should've taken more advantage of the opportunities that Souths gave them. The Broncs did win the halves battle as Kelly and Walters were far more effective.

Penrith looked totally beatable we were just unlucky.
Most plaudits are referring to Broncos turning it around this season and challenging for minor premiership.
They also reckon Souths looked the goods and probably won't lose another this season
Both Sharks and Raiders are said to be wooden spoon contenders.

Hopefully that helps me out and you can stay bush and away from the jinx

The one week you don't want to play the roosters is next week they have been so sloppy today and error riddled. They are going to be hard to beat on friday.

Like the eels beating Panthers in the trial badly today knights have done us no favours for next week.

They look as pedestrian around the ruck and in attack as we do. Anyone find that interesting ?

They'll towel us next week, but I do think it shows in 2022, 9 is such a specialist position.

Gone are the days you can throw Monaghan in at 9 due to lack of.options.

You can see this a mile off robbo will have the roosters primed for Friday. I expect similar score line against us like this week.

they won’t play that bad 2 weeks in a row and you can bet we won’t get a look in on Friday.

I think 14-6 half time score with roosters winning 30-10 final score.

If they play physical, play with intensity, we'll fold. We are too soft, unfit, lack mobility and have a really poor attitude.

Randall is a machine to be honest. Comparing him to Croker though I guess is the apples and oranges thing.

Rooster are down 10-2 At half time.

Very sloppy against the knights.

They have made so many errors.

Sutton has not helped them at all re calls.

What's the bet they turn up next Friday night against us.

We can beat them from what I am watching today but we will have to improve a lot from Thursday night's performance to do so.

Not a matter of them turning up, we have to turn up. If we do we'll street em.

2. Remember last year;
3. Have we ever thought they are just better than us;
4. POSSIBLY: Schuster, Aloiai was.out;
5. We played well, and are improving;
6. There's positive signs.

Etc etc etc.

Why shouldn't it be any of those options.
Did you guys learn nothing from last year.
Our boys just need that first win ,If we don't get it next week
