Let’s all have a chew!
Just complete sets. It’s that simple. Tigers error, then penalty, try stormAnd just like that, Melbourne seemingly roll on as normal.....
So do the Tigpies it would seem.

When teams get physical with us (Storm, Bunnies, Panthers), we fold. It's happened for 18 months.Seriously mate why don’t you go support another team. One game in and this is the tripe you sprout. Fairdinkum!
Thanks, that's very thoughtful of you!I mean, I could just say how great we were after that game, if that would make you happy.
I don’t need a lesson on rugby league 101. What you said was:When teams get physical with us (Storm, Bunnies, Panthers), we fold. It's happened for 18 months.
Particularly when the opposition control the pace of the game.
We struggle with a rush defense, because our system is a flat attack. Means we struggle to make metres, especially in the middle.
Ruck speed is paramount to us, both in attack and defense. Slow play-the-balls allows the opposition to maintain pressure.
Comes down to intensity, speed, momentum, attitude and energy. For us to be successful, we need to do everything at speed.
These facts have been pointed out by not only commentators, league judges, but Des and our coaching staff (as stated in the post match pressers etc).
I mean, I could just say how great we were after that game, if that would make you happy. And forget the three floggings before, and the inability to beat a top 4 team in 18 months (even though you suggest it's one game).
Lastly , just my opinion, telling anyone (particularly here) to support another team is very much 2002 (Jye Mullane Stand) like, and kind of goes back to the official forum days.
I've no doubt Ryan gets as much joy as anyone does from being a Manly supporter. He also feels as much disappointment as anyone ever does when we fail.I wonder if perhaps supporting someone else might bring you more joy
Also I think Chris Bailey didn't live up to expectations. Which is about as relevant as DCE's pay packet. They were both settled a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away.So watching the Storm v Tigers game can anyone seriously believe that DCE could do what Jerome Hughes did in carrying that side to a win last night. They were down to 1 bench player, the Tigers were throwing everything at them, admittedly they made some dumb errors and poor choices at times BUT it took something special to pull that game out. DCE just goes missing when we are under the pump. Headless chook plays, constant no pressure kicks to anywhere, no leadership, no taking control and saying follow me. Where was any of that on agaibst Penrith or Souths or Melbourne or early last year with no Tom ? Honestly we are paying way overs for what we are getting from him. He's great as a flat track bully but if it turns into an arm wrestle and we start back peddling then it's sayonara.
You're not getting it.I don’t need a lesson on rugby league 101. What you said was:
We are too soft, unfit, lack mobility and have a really poor attitude.
Your words not mine. I don’t know what you expect mate but last time I looked we were one win away from a GF last year. If being soft, unfit, lacking mobility and having a poor attitude gets you that far, then I’d hate to see your assessment of some of the other teams!
Also is it just me or do other teams sometimes get physical with us as well, or sorry is it just Melb, Penrith and Souths that play a physical brand of rugby league? Thought Parra play a pretty physical brand of footy (in fact their pack for periods last year were arguably the most physical) and we beat them twice last year.
I’m sorry if I offended you @Ryan by suggesting you support another team. However when you make comments like the above about the team you apparently support following a Prelim loss and a then a roubd one loss to arguably the best team in the comp over the past three years, I wonder if perhaps supporting someone else might bring you more joy as the comments about our team are negative. I don’t know who or what June Mullanes stand is sorry.
You've only just realised this ???So watching the Storm v Tigers game can anyone seriously believe that DCE could do what Jerome Hughes did in carrying that side to a win last night. Well considering we're about to pour more money down the toilet to retain him so he can increase his North shore property portfolio I thought it was relevant to ask the question again and again and again every year since the infamous backflip. You've only just realised this ???
Wrong Parra we’re in the top 4 when we beat them, 2nd in fact, and if I recall correctly they beat pretty much all the teams you listed above by the time we played them. Anyway moving on let’s hope the team can get some wins. You're not getting it.
The last four games against quality opposition hasn't even been close.or.in the same ball park. Flogged, flogged, we won big against a Chooks team with 11 players missing, then flogged again.
We haven't beaten a team in the top 4 in 18 months (6, now 7 straight losses).
In those games (I'll give you specific examples, so you see I'm not just complaining for the sake of.it) Morgan Harper for example got physically dominated by Justin Olam and Viliame Kikau.
In the last game we played, the commentators specifically stated and were shocked that , as they said, (look at all the hands on hips, and it's only 5 minutes.into the game). This was AFTER we played everyone in the trials, and most of the opposition were playing their first game.
But, I won't go on, because you're telling everybody you don't want rugby league 101 on a footy forum by people to explain their opinions.
What you're asking for is for people to support and follow the team the way you do, or they are wrong, and should **** off to another team.
What a boring forum this will become. Bye.
