I’d rather we focus on our NRL side rather than bringing in a womens team that’s only gonna run at a loss. Says a lot when strong clubs like Penrith and Melbourne also aren’t prioritising a womens team.

Yes, women's cricket has improved immensely but the smaller boundary's along with a smaller and lighter ball might have something to do with it.

Funny how the old argument when it comes to NRL expansion is that there isn't enough quality of players to go around but when it comes to women's football that same argument doesn't seem to apply.
It's like any decent female athlete that wants to have a go can.

I will say it once (also as somewhat qualified as my wife was an ex sea bird) the whole cheer leader thing is pretty antiquated
