In this new case the league want dolphins to be moreton bay or river city or some crap.

Do they think people from belrose or narrabeen don’t want to support manly because their junior clubs are rivals?

I doubt the name Redcliffe will be used , that’s just basically one suburb , the Moreton Bay Dolphins is a possibility but I’d say they’ll use something trying to encompass the whole of “ North Brisbane “ ( which really isn’t a place as such but you get the idea ).

And whilst I think we’ll get an 18th side in a few years anyway I actually don’t think an extra bye is a bad thing.

Souths should be called Zetland. Easts to be Coogee etc.

This is renaming a club with a strong brand and history of the back of some misguided marketing exec

Very informative Bozo. The only problem I see with your team and salaries is that it only leaves $1.15-M to secure the remaining 13 players (@ a low $88.000 each) for a top 30 squad.
