NRL's 17th Team - The (Redcliffe) dolphins

How about this forgotten NRL outfit from the mid 1990s. 'Sydney Tigers'.

Don 't think that there is any issue having the Dolphin reference with Redcliffe being their main base , Seem to be trying to encompass the area to the Sunshine Coast from the northern Brisbane suburbs ., notice the Moreton Bay area and development area getting a fair bit of coverage in the Courier Mail yesterday so could be inclined to go this way . Probably inconsequential really , it will be the something - Dolphins but almost certainly not the Redcliffe Dolphins

I'm really not sure how you can produce a costings list like this and keep a straight face, after you have spent all season bagging our centres.

Sam Walker and Munster will be the halfs. Rorters will have to let homesick walker go home.

Big Marty will sign a 2 year deal with Dolphins after hopefully winning a comp with Manly next year.

Marty and a couple of other older professionals will be very good for the Dolphins.

I did not produce this feathered friend

I was just sharing a news article that is related on this thread and it does not mean I agree with it

We all have our benchmarks and expectations on this forum

I am used to seeing great Manly premiership winning centres of excellence

I followed Manly not because I lived in the area but because I followed the Greatness that the Great God father instilled in our club by assembling the greatest players

Medicore does not do it for me but only Magnificence and Manly is the most Magnificent of them all and we should continue to live up to our clubs Magnificent status

Wayne Bennett has officially been confirmed as The Dolphins head coach and will lead the Redcliffe-based team into their inaugural NRL season in 2023 after signing a four-year deal.

With a four-year deal I presume Bennett insisted the local training ground was wheelchair friendly.

Oh and don’t call them Redcliffe or Moreton Bay.

They simply are

“ The Dolphins “

Oh and aren’t the locals pissed at that !!!!

When will Wayne think ‘enough is enough, time to enjoy some of that money I chiselled out of six different clubs, including the Dugongs’.
Who are the Dugongs, lol. You are Silvertails most cryptic poster, I'm betting you're a whiz the cryptic crosswords 🙂
